— SPOILER WARNING! —
Question:
“Why does Ms Turner must wait for 10 years before she can bring the kid to meet his dad?”
Answer:
1. Because based on the covenant, The Captain of the Flying Dutchman must spend 10 years at sea, 1 day at the land – possible
2. Actually in between this 10 years they’ve met a lot of times already. Say, by going to the flying dutchman every weekend. (it’s just that the director wants to make it more dramatic by only showing the meeting 10 years later – and making the audience test their patience by waiting for the epilogue XD)
3. Mr Turner is a very good worker. Doing his duty to Calypso for ferrying those souls lost at sea to the next world, so that he don’t have much time for his wife and son.
4. Any other reasons? =p
hum.. I think… 10 years is long enough to raise the child to show everybody that the boy is as handsome as the father… Will Turner
LOLzzz… Sooo trivial…
XD
