As I promised in the previous post, I will sort of explain the reasons of what made me stressed out and reveal it as God shows me the way.

Last night (Wednesday night) I was supposed to teach two kids (6 and 7 years old) to learn piano. Their supposedly teacher is on a vacation to Indo so I took over the job for these 2 months.

At first I was a bit nervous, stressed out. Why? It’s been awhile (around 3 years plus) since I last taught children music. Well, I’ve taught some people a bit for this past few years (Clement being the last one during the ISCF camp last December – dunno whether it was beneficial for him though :p) but they are all grown up – at least uni students. Dunno why, I just lost my self confidence that time. That’s why I got the stress – that’s not supposed to be there actually =)

My worry turns to smile, when I see those kids, afraid at first but slowly beginning to feel comfortable with me (at least that’s what I feel). Yeah I love kids (doesn’t mean that I want to have children soon though… alright, ci di? :@) and I should have just think of it that way. This is just the first day though, no guarantee that everything will go smoothly for the next few more weeks. But I believe God will always be there to be with me and show me along the way =)

Yesterday morning I woke up late and rushed to work – without doing my daily devotion first. It was a stressful day, with works to do, and near-future issues that made my worried. I was stressed out until my friend said I looked “dead”… Ahahaha…

The good thing is, God gave me an enlightenment, let me believe again in Him and that I shouldn’t be worried – forgive me for not having enough faith >.<

He gave me this words,
“Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to his life?” – Mat 6:27 (NIV)

And there I realize. Yes, true, my worrying won’t help me anything. I’ve been through similar cases and I went through it. I can do the same thing now. And soon after, things are revealed one by one. Blurry visions getting clearer as the day passes. Plans were made.

Funny… Coz when I start the ‘make-up’ daily devotion that I did at the night the first sentence of the passage said,
“Do not let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God; trust also in me.” – John 14:1 (NIV)

Moral of the Story:
simple… heard this dunno how many times in Sunday school or church. Do not worry. God will show us the way.
However, don’t just sit idly waiting for foods to drop from the sky. A bird still needs to fly and look for food. The same with us. Work well while keeping in my mind that God will provide us with a bright future and fulfillment sooner or later.

I believe all the issues that made me worried will be answered and cleared one by one. Hopefully I can post each of them as they are over in the near future

I am far from being wise, not worth comparing with those people of wisdom. However, I believe it never hurts to have a vision to look up to.

The phrases above are taken from Solomon’s Proverbs. They are actually the introduction to the long list of words of wisdom that have taught many people of all ages. Good writings, however simple, should be able to at least do some of the above things.

I just prayed that I can learn to do so – slowly =)
